Card Making
It is always nice to give away handmade cards to people who are special to you. Here is one i made, its pretty simple, any one can do it ( even an 8 year old ) :D doesn't require special skills, just a little but of cutting and wrapping and you're done!
Things you need:
- A thick paper for card making ( any paper would do )
- Another Colored Paper for Card Frame ( Can be thick or thin )
- Plenty of Crepe Paper to wrap around the frame
- Another colored paper for heart shape and spirals
- Scissors
- Glue Stick
- Water colors ( not necessary/up to you)
- Scaled ruler to measure and cut out the paper and frame
Step 1: Cut out a 4 x 8 inch thick paper ( or any size you want, bigger or smaller ). Make sure one dimension is the double of another so that you can fold it into a square.
Step 2: Cut out the frame for the paper, measure the outside of the frame to be same as that of your card so it can fit on the edges of the card. Cut out the strip about half an inch off the crepe paper and wrap the frame with crepe paper as shown below.
Step 3: Select another colored paper ( any color you want ) and scrunch it to make it wrinkly. Cut out a heart shape from this paper ( only after scrunching it )
Step 4: Glue it all together ! Voila , you re done! :D
Step 5: Give yourself a pat on the shoulder ( not kidding -_- )
I did it in a hurry, you can be neater =]

MAC Brush Review - Must Have Brushes for Eye Makeup Freaks!!
I am a total eye makeup freak! If you are one too, you've got to get these brushes!
MAC 239: Eye Shader Brush
For the inner eye and eye lids, This brush can really make the eye shadow look concentrated and bold on your eye lids. Its firm yet flexible at the same time. Its also used to highlight the brow bones with a lighter (preferably shimmer) shade.

MAC 275:Medium Angled Shading Brush
For outer eye, area about eye crease and to the sides under the brow. This brush really defines your crease well, and since its tapered, its easy to use, even for an unprofessional. And its THE BEST for blending the colors from crease into the lid.
MAC Fluid Eye Liner Brush :You can use this for upper lid or lower lid, Its convenient to use rather than those thin eye liner brushes. This one comes in a package with the tiny MAC Fluidline Eyeliner bottle. I love this brush cause its great for smudging my liner on the lower lid. ( i personally like that look.)
(you can see it in the second picture )

Why MAC ?
I've been using these two brushes for over a year now, and they are still good. If you take care of them, they probably wont wear off in even 2 years. But its always good to replace brushes after a year or so, its more hygenic! xD

Best Birthday Gift Ever
HIT THE GROUND RUNNING WITH PASSION
-(passion is important)
If i were to introduce myself i'd say "hi my name is Sabi,n i love Art!" xD
I was so busy with the current semester and the studies were such a burden that they kept on stressing me out. I totally could find no time for any kind of entertainment untill....my last birthday...
WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED???
I got the most amazing gift ever! A pallet, Chinese and flat brushes collection, acrylic color's collection and a huge drawing pad. I was so happy that i got hit by a
'HAPPY MOMENT SYNDROME' ! xD
'HAPPY MOMENT SYNDROME' ! xD
It was so tempting for me to try out these new brushes and the paints on the heavy paper canvas. When i did so, i felt like i was gliding through heaven. Its as if someone just got hold of a water bottle after running miles in a hot desert! (Thumbs up for the exaggeration)
And its that what made me realize how important it is to keep your passion alive! Most of us get so busy in our routine that we totally forget to give our hobby any time at all.
MORAL: Give Your Spirit a BOOST by reviving your passion! Give your passion sometime! Take out some time for yourself and your likes! Its NOW or never :)
