International Iftar at UTP

Today was the 'International Iftaar Day' at UTP (universiti teknologi petronas). Its my third ramadan here but a very first time to attend such an event. Turned out pretty amazing and the food was so delicious. There were over 8 countries presenting their yummilicious food.including Egypt Iran Turmenistan Pakistan,Yemen,South Aftrica,Vietnam etc.
The interesting part was that this was all organized by the students and they all did it really well !! The event was not only about food but also the culture and environment, there was a quiz regarding Islamic history and prizes were given to the  the ones who gave correct answers. Overall it was a good experience to break fast with a lot of people; not only muslims but also non-muslims which was uniquely awesome in its own way

I captured a few dishes, couldn't capture them all cause it soon got all rushy as Athan was anounced!

MAC Brush Review - Must Have Brushes for Eye Makeup Freaks!!

I am a total eye makeup freak! If you are one too, you've got to get these brushes!

MAC 239: Eye Shader Brush
For the inner eye and eye lids, This brush can really make the eye shadow look concentrated and bold on your eye lids. Its firm yet flexible at the same time. Its also used to highlight the brow bones with a lighter (preferably shimmer) shade.

MAC 275:Medium Angled Shading Brush
For outer eye, area about eye crease and to the sides under the brow. This brush really defines your crease well, and since its tapered, its easy to use,even for an unprofessional. And its THE BEST for blending the colors from crease into the lid.

MAC Fluid Eye Liner Brush :You can use this for upper lid or lower lid,  Its convenient to use rather than those thin eye liner brushes. This one comes in a package with the tiny MAC Fluidline Eyeliner bottle. I love this brush cause its great for smudging my liner on the lower lid. ( i personally like that look.)

Why MAC ?

I've been using these two brushes for over a year now, and they are still good. If you take care of them, they probably wont wear off in even 2 years. But its always good to replace brushes after a year or so, its more hygenic! xD

REVLON Colorburst Experience

Just another day and i went up to the  REVLON cosmetic shelf and wanted to try some new lip color...  I totally fell in love with just the case of the REVLON COLORBURST lipsticks . It comes in many colors, but i chose PEACH.

The lipstick gives a fine glossy yet natural shine...Its more like something between a gloss and lipstick. The color is amazing.

What i love the most about the casing is that you don't have to open it to see what color you re using , the top is colored same as the lipstick... (REVLON is INTELLIGENT he he :D)

Putrajaya : Sight Seeing in Malaysia

Putrajaya -The Federal Administrative Center of Malaysia

If i were to rank all the cities in Malaysia based on man made Beauty, i'd rank Putrajaya no.1

Since i visited this city I wanted to promote it among all the people I know :P (YES ITS THAT BEAUTIFUL) Putrajaya is the federal administrative center of Malaysia. I visited this city at night about a few days ago and you wont believe how breathtakingly awesome the view was.

Anywhere you look your eyes will be frozen and you would not wanna turn your eyes away from the view. Unfortunately my phone battery died and i could not capture the beauty around me. However i visited the city again but it was in the day time. It still looks beautiful though :)

The best part of PutraJaya

The best part of Putrajaya is the Seri Wawasan Bridge. I was on the moving bus when i captured this image. So i only managed to capture a part of it! :P But THIS is how it looks like at the night time :)

The most amazing part is when the bridge changes the colors. you would wanna see it over and over again, its so mesmerizing!!

                                                                                                                                                                       

Perdana Putra

Perdana Putra is the building in Putrajaya where the President of Malaysia has his office located.The building appears to be a Magical Palace at night with all those yellow lights glowing...Below is the image that i managed to take at the day time.

Mosque at PutraJaya

Here's one of the most beautiful mosques I have seen known as "Masjid Putra" located at a little distance from Perdana Putra.

Some how i lost my way into the crafts shops located nearby this area, They had these amazing hand made pillow covers and other fabric wall hangings with elephant motifs...  

If you're visiting Malaysia, you've got to give this place a visit :D Enjoy!
